theres an event goin down later this month up there. its gonna be big.
ill copy and paste all the info i got.
EVERYONE is welcome. If we can show some longboarders to the
light all the better. We will be doing a mixture of things from easy
small hills to parking lots to OMG I am fucking nuts for even looking
at this! All skill levels will be represented. My little cousin is 7
and can barley ride a freebord but he will be there giving it all he's
got.
Lookin into the last weekend of july 23-25th
Hey man so I have been in contact with the crew over at the shop in
SF. We are trying to put together a ride in Chattanooga. I was
wondering if you thought the crew from ATL would be able to make it
down? We really want to try to do it big. A local shop in Chattanooga
that sells Freebords said that they would be down to help as well, and
they might have some pull with the local TV stations. I got a place we
could all stay for free and plenty of hills scoped out. Let me know
what you think.

My parents live in Dalton, I'm usually there on the weekends, google
crow valley rd, and if you get off on exit 333 and make a left there
is a rd that goes all the up the mountain, it's pretty gnar, I'm not
ballzy enough to try it yet, but you might want to Check it out. I
come back to GA next Tuesday .

Thanks for the input! You're lukcy to have the 'rents in that area.
I've bombed that road on my mt.bike going back towards 75 and it is
fast! I've driven the other side and it looks more fun as it has a few
more turns and prolly less traffic. There is some other stuff off that
exit that's also on the menu for Saturday. Lemme know if you wanna hit
some spots in the area. We've been tapping into some great new (to us)
terrain lately.
