This was the best kid's birthday party I have been too so far. We
watched the game for the first two innings, then the entire stadium
sang Happy Birthday to the kids while they stood on the dugout (there
were 3 kids that had birthday parties that night) and it could be seen
on the big screen in the outfield. Then off for pizza and ice cream
in the picnic area. After that, there was speed pitching. The
birthday package includes 3 throws in the speed pitching area. (The
speed pitching was open to everyone in the park-I think they should
have it open for the birthday parties first, and then open it to the
public because the wait is a little long.) Then, back to the seats
for the rest of the game. All in all, it is a great time. And for
you baseball fans, Edgardo Alfonso and Carl Everett are currently on
the team. For Birthday packages, here's the link:
http://www.liducks.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=birthdayTickets (you may
have to copy and paste in your browser) One caveat: no gifts of any
kind are allowed in the park, so plan on telling your guest to get
there about 30 minutes early and meet you in the east parking lot
(west parking lot in front of the West Gate is for handicapped only)
and they can hand you the gifts to store in your car before the game.
