Call for Papers/Essays for a Collection on Lonerganian Ethics (in Memory of Jim Sauer)

Mary Beth Yount, the Assistant to the Director/Project Manager at Duquesne University Press and an adjunct faculty member of Duquesne, is compiling and editing a collection of essays on the ethical and socio-political implications of Lonergan’s thought in a contemporary context. The collection is in memory of James Sauer (“Jim”), who was a thorough and enthusiastic professor of Mary Beth’s. It is through his inspiration that she, and others, continued on for a terminal degree.

Proposal Deadline: Friday, November 21

The proposals should be in the form of abstracts. If you have completed the essay before the deadline, feel free to send it along with the proposal—but papers do not need to be completed before the proposal deadline. Potential contributors whose proposals fit in well with the project will be invited to submit the entire paper. A limited number of previously published papers will be accepted. If the contribution has been published before, please be sure to put the details of its publication on the submission.
