New Site
I also want to let you know that the Marquette Lonergan Project will soon be launching a second website called Lonergan Resource. This site will be devoted to secondary materials. It will start much smaller than the first site, but it has the capacity of growing indefinitely over the years. It will include:
  • Proceedings of conferences, both papers and audio recordings
  • Records of courses, both notes and audio recordings
  • Lectures, both papers and audio recordings
  • Articles
  • Books
  • Dissertations
  • Journals

The original materials on the site will all be connected to Marquette University: proceedings of the "Lonergan on the Edge" conference of graduate students this past September and of the First Annual Colloquium on doing systematic theology in a multi-religious world, conducted at the end of October, along with some materials of my own that were ready to be uploaded. But this is just to get us started. We are planning to add to the site on a regular basis, and to make it a major repository of secondary-source material on Lonergan's work. For instance, among the next items to be added to the site are the back issues of Method: Journal of Lonergan Studies and of Lonergan Workshop.

Lonergan Endowment
Let me call your attention to the Lonergan Endowment that is being assembled at Marquette University. In order for us to continue our work indefinitely, we will need an endowment of $2 million or more, and we are still a long way from that amount. However, the endowment is being added to regularly, through contributions from our friends. It is now possible for you to contribute to the endowment on line, through a secure credit card contribution. We have added a feature to both sites that will enable you to make contributions on line. If you wish to contribute to the Marquette Lonergan Project Endowment, here is the link to the Marquette University giving site. You may click on the link, and then on the drop down table click 'Other' and fill in the space with 'Lonergan Fund.'

Alternatively, you may make a check payable to Marquette University and send it to the following address:
Robert M. Doran, S.J.
Theology Department
Coughlin Hall 100
Marquette University
P.O. Box 1881
Milwaukee, WI 53201-1881 USA

Needless to say, receipts for tax purposes will be issued to all US contributors. I'm grateful in advance for your consideration. Once again, a blessed Christmas to all!

Sincerely yours,
Robert M. Doran, S.J.
