Does this sound like anyone you know?

//I suspect it might turn into a longer contract, and could talk about it offline.

Or it might not.  If you know someone who fits the bill, email me, skype me mattheusser or call me 888-868-7194.

We have a client that has been working a complex production issue for about 3 months now. (they are hurting bad)  They are looking for someone that is very strong in JProbe analysis and Java skills that can come in SWAT team style (or Ninja style, choose your analogy), for a couple of weeks and help them dissect this issue?  The person would have 2 developer-types and 1 tester at their disposal.

Please let me know if you or someone in your network might be able to help with this.  We can get creative on how to handle the logistics of doing this.

Hi Matt

I've mentioned this to a friend of mine who might fit the bill, but the first thing he did was laugh and say, "Yeah, how much are they expecting to pay for this ninja, and how much is paid up front."

I told him I would ask.

Thanks

Malcolm

Sounds important. A large contingent fee might be appropriate.

I know we always like to say it'll be easier to do it now than it
will be to do it later. Not likely. I plan to be smarter later than
I am now, so I think it'll be just as easy later, maybe even easier.
Why pay now when we can pay later?

$5 - One chalk 'X'
$49,995 - Knowing where to put it

Priceless - the stories in the bar at the next conference :)

As a management consultant put it, when explaining why to get paid up front.

"Gratitude is very short lived, Resentment never dies."
