Did anyone else go (apart from Martind)? It was great as usual.

Mindsets UK had a stall there, I've spent the last hour browsing their
website - it's full of shape memory alloys, metals that melt at low
temperatures, electricity-conducting lycra, bendable plastics and
other goodies.

I did, I enjoyed it. 2nd year I've been. Hard to say what I liked best
but that water pouring thing was pretty high up the list.

I'm after some SMA too ..

Hey, I went but missed the mind set stand.
Loads of good things but missed all the talks.
Thanks.

I was puzzled at first about where the Mindset stand was, but
eventually realised it was the one halfway down the right hand wall,
approximately opposite the infinity-mirrors LED tunnel and the walking
machines (skeleton, ostrich and that kiwi-like thing).

There was a nicely built machine on the stand which appeared to be
creating patterns on paper in a continuous process by floating paint
onto it over a water bath. Not sure what that's called, though it's a
recognised technique.
