Hi fellow hackspacers.

I'm getting a mast delivered to the space and was wondering if anyone would object to me storing it there for a week or two until I get my land rover down and fit it to the land rover?

It wont take up much space, it can go down by the current antennas, it's ~2m long and a couple of inches in diameter.

Thanks

Seems reasonable to me. On the subject of masts, what happened about the trailer mast that was mentioned about a month back?

Thanks.

It'll be delivered on Tuesday next week, I'm anticipating being in for the delivery anyway.

Join the lhs-radio list. We're going to organise some days for messing
around with radio stuff.
You don't need a license of your own if you're operating under the
supervision of someone with a full license.

Many years ago, when I was an officer in the Merchant Navy, I picked up a Restricted Radio Telephony license.  Is that worth anything any more? do they expire?

That sounds cool, but I guess you'd be the right person to tell us... :)

You may be able to ask ofcom to transfer it to a HAM licence...
