Torn down an Atari Lynx

I just found one of these in pretty bad repair in the back of our store room. The screen cover (not LCD) was cracked, battery box missing, riddled with damp and the case was falling apart.

So I decided to pull it to bits for the screen and ditch the rest. Sorry - got no pics. 

Highlights - observing that the lynx was about 4 times the size of my PSP. It takes 6 AA batteries, which barely made for 30 minutes play time I remember. This was probably down to the backlight - a huge assembly, and turned out to be what looks like a  smallish flourescent tube - obviously before bright white LED technology. The cart socket is some foxconn thing, the main IC's are both VLSI - one of them must be the 68k equivalent.

I just found some bread in the back of our fridge, its in a pretty bad
state. The crust was falling off, tie-tag missing and the bag had a
hole in it.
So I decided to pull it apart and ditch the rest, Sorry got no pics

Highlights - The bread is still quite good once the mould has been
removed, its still springy and I'm sure I can make use of it in some
sort of sandwich. The bag is some sort of Sainsburys one but i think
its unrepairable as I've googled for the datasheet and cant find
anything

If you use the aftermarket "grill" application, you can upgrade it to a
perfectly functional Toast platform and use it as a server for butter,
cheese, even pizza-toasts!

I just found some occupier sleeping in the back of our darkroom, it's in a pretty bad state. The shirt buttons and pockets are falling off, smells of hummous and the sleeping bag has a hole in it.

So I decided to pull it apart and ditch the rest, Sorry got no pics

Highlights - I'm sure it's still quite useful, as long as everybody is in consensus. And could provide a good source of protein if the active denial system I'm building from the microwave fails human testing. The sleeping bag is a Tesco value one. Maybe it could be repaired by the london-thread-space group.
