I got bored on saturday afternoon and decided to...

No i'll wait, please take a seat whilst I say this because its a shocker
.
.
ready?
.
.
.
...actually make something.

As such there are now 64 RGB leds strung around the foyer, I'll be hooking them up to things tonight and publishing some sort of networked API to control them soon. Please dont screw with them until I'm at least 3/4 done and bored with the project

Ta!

You? stick things to the ceiling and then get bored of the project before it's done? I won't believe it!

Then maybe... one day... I too will actually make something ;)

Can't wait to see this, hope it's up and working when I finally make it to the space!

Ask charles, he's responsible for them!

they're the LED's from EMF.
Not terribly expensive and can be bought in strips online.

though for EMF they weren't bought in strips, they were bought in the slightly cheaper disassembled form. (some assembly required)

no these were charles' efforts at reverse engineering those strips, he may still have some pcbs left

Damn. Is there still time to make that pulsating rippling colour squid costume for halloween?

Anywhere  they can  be found cheaper?
