Hey guys, sorry to spam you all again, but there's been some developments - we've been reaching out to UK suppliers of parts, and figured out what it would take for us to set up manufacturing over here in the UK, so soon we will be able to ship R10 from the UK as well as the US.  We posted an update about it on our Kickstarter: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1101297082/r10-quadrotor-powerful-inexpensive-and-customizabl/posts basically if we can reach $60000 (and if the previous trend continues, that won't take long), we will be able to ship all the rewards from the UK.

I hope this is good news to you people who indicated interest in the R10 last time, and it would be really great to use this opportunity for us to get established properly both in the US and UK.  Also don't forget the offer still stands where if there's enough of you, one of us just drives over and drops them off and refund your shipping fees.

Man I'm tired, been working on this non-stop all weekend...
Thanks guys.

Awesome thanks, we're $13 from opening Uk supply chain, we're going to have to go out and locate a whole bunch of suppliers and services for all the bits of R10 this week.

Also pledged for an R10 advanced - didn't add the $30 for non-US
shipping though as you're over the $60k goal... was that right? :)

You guys are great, thanks for supporting us.

We need to sort out shipping for UK people, right people in the EU mainland will pay the same non-US shipping since the shipping from here is similar in cost.  But we will reduce shipping for those in the UK.  Currently haven't figured out how to do that yet, it's either going to be: we refund shipping after the kickstarter, or we throw in some extras (spare parts/battery) to cover the difference, or people pledge a lower amount...

We'll be checking these options out and notifying people via an update on the kickstarter.  I really wasn't anticipating this happening so fast...a bit stunned at the moment.

Hi Yuan,
Have two things on my list for the rest of the year PX4 (with AR for parrot) and a follow-me for APM. How mature is R10 compared to APM ??

R10 is not as mature as APM, we've got a smaller team, and we've been at it for a lot less time.  (You were at one of our first talks, that's pretty much when we started, APM hit the scene after that, but their development was based on existing code and hardware).

Amazing - $200,000 pledged and still 10 hours to go

Not bad for a $15,000 project...

Looking forward to receiving mine :-)
