Um, I only just received notification about the wiki page (if I opted for single e-mails, I'd have a flood of e-mails in my mailbox, so I get digests), and it's now full. I note that I have been among the first to express interest via the Google Group -- I would have thought that I'd have a slot once we're at that stage... since there have evidently been 6-person trainings, could I, given the circumstances, sneak in as the sixth man?

To be honest CorpoWombat, I haven't yet cleared my attendance with my wife so, feel free to step into my place...

I can quite happily go during the week... and the weekends are family-territory anyway so it was just wishful thinking on my part! ;-)

Hi,

I see this has been sorted with Dario, but to explain to the list.

I'm a trainer, not a sectary. People expressing interest isn't a grantee that they will be able to turn up at the time I'm running it. If I add people myself, I end up having to confirm with those people and I spend more time doing administration work on the training sessions than actually training.

Also the extras in the lists are normally me doing extra training on the day and rolling it into the existing list, people seem to think you can always fit one more person (that person seems to be mostly them) so that's why we have a hard cap, otherwise we would end up with the 20 person scrum at the lasercutter we used to get.

So if it wasn't for Dario, it would have been a polite no :)

If you can't make it, even if its at the last second, please have the curtsy to let me know as this means I can fill your spot without the worry that you will turn up 5 mins later.
