Wrokshop sink

While tidying the sink area in hangar 24, I noticed that the water was hot. I'm not sure anyone uses hot water in that area at the moment so I turned it off to save electricity.

If you need to turn it on again, the switch is deeply hidden - fixed to the wall at the back of the sink (open the left hand door and look right to the back, behind the water heater).

do you mean in 23? Assuming you do then this seems sensible.

Yeah, probably. The workshop, anyway, not the drinks area.

Excellent, IIRC there aren't too many processes that take place in the workshop that require hot water; possibly some for cleaning brushes but it's not vital and white spirit does most of the work (more than anything hot water is helpful if you're working in the sink for a while), that being said it's rare that people clean the brushes anyway....

Sadly true. I'm pretty sure that whatever processes MIGHT usefully use hot water, very little hot water has actually been used there recently.  Certainly not enough to justify keeping a tank of it permanently hot.

If someone starts silkscreening or something they might want to put it on for the day.
