Hi All,

Would anyone else be interested in a mailing list for discussing more
fabric/thread oriented ideas at the space?

My own skills are very much noobie, but it would be nice to see
discussions of what people are doing and what equipment people want.

Things I'm interested in:

Making my own sandals/light shoes (out of tires atm)
Making my own glowy clothing for clubbing.
Random knitting machine stuff:
Knitting klein bottles - It was mentioned on Tuesday and sounds odd,
probably too complex for me and likely frustrating but for some reason
I want to give it a go.
Long term: Making my own camping equipment/sleeping bags

I can help with basic leatherworking and i sort of know how to use a
sewing machine..

I'd like to learn how to make something fabric from a pattern. The
tire sandals that Will mentioned sound fun. And there's a couple of
tent design's i'd like to try building...
