Due to popular naggin... demand, I will be placing a new labcoat order!
Sadly last time we didn't get enough people in on the order quickly enough,
we need to see 15+ coats on the list in 4 weeks time to make it
a viable order.
I have reset the order list to remove anyone who has since changed their
mind (can't be doing with contacting each of you personally), so if you
were on it before, please re add yourself.
Love that they call the female labcoat 'princess' and are apparently
modeled by someone with no clothes on other than the coat... wonder how
that gender equality's going for them...

I have a photo of a female in my labcoat, it honestly looks like she isn't
wearing anything under it (though I'm assured she was) so it may not be
their fault it looks this way ;)

By my reckoning that would work out at over 150 in embroidery costs, and
substantially more if they are as popular as I am expecting them to be. That
would go a good way towards the cost of an embroidery machine, they seem
to start at about 400 on ebay.
To get one that will let you upload your own design, buy that software and
also buy the labcoats at non reduced prices will be more of a cost/pain
than you may think. The cost of the wiki is also a conservative over
estimate.
Feel free to sort this separately but I would rather get them made right by
a company I trust.

Thanks -- anyone knows how those are measured? :-) I am guessing it's
chest size (just below the arms), but clothing sizes have always been
an arcane subject for me...

It is on the wall in Unit 23`s left hand toilet. If the people responsible
for the assorted crap that is blocking access to this area could
move/balconise some of it then the coathooks could be useable again.
There are a lot of coats there that either belong to people that are no
longer members or have not been used for a long time for other reasons.
I will have a look at these over the weekend and put any that look unused
into a box to make hooks available for regular users. Fear not! I will
make a list of those stored so that those concerned will know where to
look.

Currently waiting to hear back on the quote for the order. In
the meantime I'm going to have to ask those of you who haven't added a size
to your order to do so in the next 2 days or I will have to remove you from
the list (nothing personal, but they don't do a magic one size fits all and
I can't guess your size :) )
Best,
Sol

Many apologies for the long delay, a mix of my lameness and lost emails I'm
afraid.
But! I now have confirmed prices: (all include coat, embroidery and
shipping)
Standard: £24
Evil: £25
Princess: £23
The bad news is that the XL Princess is out of stock until 13/03 and the
small standard until mid Febuary. If you don't want to have to wait please
fell free to change your order type, or cancel. (please pop me an email and
update the wiki with your choice if you are effected by this)
"So sol, how do I get my damn labcoat already?"
Glad you asked!
You can either give me cash at the hackspace, or pop it in an envelope in
my box with your labcoat name on (please let me know if you do this).
Alternately you can paypal me the cash charlesyarn...@gmail.com but
*please* remember to check the box to pay the paypal fee yourself,
otherwise I end up paying for part of your labcoat!
I know its been a while, so if you wish to cancel please pop me an email
off list to let me know and update the wiki, the order should be
fine as-long as not too many people pull out.
Also if you are not on the list yet, get yourself on it ASAP and arrange
payment and you too could have one!
I know its a bit cheeky after making you wait all this time, but if you can
sort out your payment etc ASAP it would be a great help, as with it being a
group order I need to wait for everyone. This means I reserve the right to
poke you ;)
Any questions?

Just wondering if this order was ever made? I sent in my money but haven't seen anything new on this. Sol, I guess you are first point of call on this?
