Dear Dorkbots,
I'm pleased to be able to propose Bletchley Park as the official venue
for dorkcamp 2011!
They've agreed (in principle) to host us from the 18th - 19th June,
with a public family-day event on Saturday 18th, where we would
demonstrate our dorky wares, alongside the volunteers at the National
Museum of Computing, who will also be doing tours and showing off
their amazing work at Bletchley Park.
There will also be lots of opportunities to delve into stacks of old
computers they have rotting away, and muck in with
cataloguing/exploring/fixing stuff.
However, we still need a lot of collaborative work to make this happen
- it's a tight deadline, and we'll need to move quite quickly to make
it happen.
The kind of thing that would be really useful to know at this point is:
