Congratulations!

The sound of the wind during the launch, and the undulating balloon,
reminds me of the ball in "The Prisoner". Didn't it make a sound like that?

Perhaps someday in the far future someone will recover the payload and
will see pictures from the balloon.

Oh yes, I was constantly reminded of 'rover' during the launch.

No camera on this flight. We needed to keep the weight as low as
possible to get altitude.

Congratulations.

Having designated under the Horus project does that mean you can no
longer claim to have recovered all your payloads? :P

We've recovered all payloads that were launched in Australia. Doing the
same in the UK is a bit harder. :-)

Saw you also had an interest in "foxhunting"/RDF.Hmmm...Used to do
that way back in the days...Interesting hobby

I sure am!

The next will launch will be even lighter, and hopefully go higher!

Attached is the MicroNut PCB I've been working on for the last few days. 5x2.2cm in size, not including GPS antenna.

Awesome! Any space for an SD card or EEPROM for datalogging? (A
64kbyte I2C EEPROM in SOT223 would set you back less than £1, there's
one built onto Forebrain)
