Subject: Rebar and metal tube

Just a heads up that I've moved the rebar and metal tubing that was bundled
under the shelving units as they were a massive trip hazard. This stuff is
now in the metal stock bins. I was too tubby to be able to place the stuff
upright against the wall so it now lies on the floor. The rebar sticks out
a bit so I've placed a box to protect your shins from being ripped open
should you not notice the pointy bits (image: http://i.imgur.com/STdtg.jpg).

The metal tubing (image: http://i.imgur.com/NXUm0.jpg) looks very useful
but is now hidden under all the rebar.

Bin the rebar!

23:02 < asc> is rebar that commonly used?
23:03 <@aden> mostly as ammo for the air cannon
23:03 <@russss> they're road pins, for fencing
23:04 <@russss> we found out they were cheaper to buy than rent for
EMF
23:04 <@Akki14> are they that useful then? :/
23:04 <@russss> nope
23:04 <@Akki14> i mean, they're big, heavy, rusty...
23:04 <@Akki14> :(
23:04 <@russss> bin em
23:04 < asc> yes! bin em

Probably worth offering to Stepney City Farm - decent bar stock for
the forge, or fencing material.

I'll shout Ian and trailer them over, when it's not raining.

These are still in the space and will be binned in one week.

Sorry about this.

There's a limit to how much my trailer can carry, so i've only
delivered part of it. There's also a slight mis-match between my
personal schedule, and when the farm is open. :))

I'll drop the rest off this week.

If the farm is that keen on it, perhaps they could help you move it ?

Or if they don't really want it, why should you be put to the trouble
of shifting it ?

It's not for the farm. It's a favour to Ian the blacksmith. Just by
way of thanks for him organising the classes for us.

in this case "the farm" is ian rather than the actual farm, I don't think
he has motorised transport, we like him and he's been providing very
reasonably priced blacksmithing lessons to members.

I need to apologise for not doing this.

My body has not been in the best of states, so i haven't been able to
cycle into the space, never mind the moving-heavy-lumps-of-metal
thing.

I'll be in after my lunch to move the rebar, if it's still there.
