Can I bring a small group of scouts (max 4 at a time) to the space at weekends, likely to be a sat or sun for an hour or so once a  month, after Christmas?  Only one group  a weekend - just to show them what it's about, the sort of projects that have gone on etc?  It's part of a badge requirement (not specifically a hackspace, but visiting community groups) - we've done our local areas to death and the local hackspace is only on once every two weeks and not on a day I can make.  I will obviously be responsible for them, but they shouldn't get in the way and if they're a pain, we can always stick bits of them in the milling machine.

I don't see a problem with this especially if you'll be giving the tour and not needing to book the quiet room or similar. I'd ask once you've decided on weekends that you give us a heads up on dates but seems fine to me.

Thank you for asking :)

It might be worth chatting to Martin Dittus.

He organised the Young Hackspace events.
