Hi all,

I work for Focusrite / Novation, we're based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. We do audio interfaces and music controllers and are mostly famous for the Launchpad and Sapphire products. I've come to the hackspace a few times before I started my job there.

We're recycling some of the bits we've used to prototype our gear, and some gear that has defects. We're sharing a building with Gear4, which builds iPhone and iPad accessories, and they also throw stuff and we arrange collections synchronously. 

Seeing what we're throwing away, it seems sensible to offer you guys to come along and pick up the good stuff before it gets thrown away. Would anyone be able to come to High Wycombe for this? I'll e-mail collection dates when I know them.

Also, we're recruiting at the moment (software engineers and hardware engineers). There's no job advert yet but if you send me a CV and a few lines about you, I'd be happy to forward. I will post job adverts when they're published.

Yes, I live in Ealing and work in Watlington so drive past High Wycombe
every day.

Might be a delay before I get the stuff as far as the hackspace though...

Im very interested in your stuff as my own private projects tend to
revolve around audio and home built odd midi controllers.
I dont have a car, but would 2 extra hands to carry help? Or if a lot
of stuff, maybe we can rent a car?

Thanks all for your interest. I think it's best if at least 2 people come, as you may find things interesting that other wouldn't. It will have to be during working hours.

I too would love to get my grubby mitts on some hackable audio gear
for the space :-) I don't have daytime commitments so can also be
another pair of hands to travel up from london on the train, if
