Carbon filter for laser?

Dear Hax,

I remember a while back we were discussing neighbours hatin the smoke the laser cutter makes. I recently got a laser at home and was real worried that my neighbours might similarly hate me. I bought an economy carbon air filter off amazon for about £35 and can confirm - it works amazingly.

The slightest smell of warm rubber when cutting neoprene (which is super smelly normally)
And ...absolutely nothing when cutting acrylic!

The main smell is inside near the laser cutter where smoke escapes the lid...

Maybe we want to drop one of these on?

Happily it doesn't seem to reduce the air-flow all that much either..
But I would still vent to outside.

I bought a carbon filter for this last week, it's in the space, charles has it.
