Hi, i've read Your hackspace wishlist and i've found that You need:
"A decent hi-fi. An amp with DLNA or A2DP would be cool."
So i've got class D amplifier based on tripath technology from some high end amplituner.
7 chanels x 100W RMS and dedicated SMPS power supply.
Power supply is not functional now it have at least two components blown out.
Amplifier needs to be controled from some microcontroller (Volume control)
I have also MSI wind u100 netbook to setup wireless audio reciever.
It would be great if somenone want to help me with this project, also i don't have any speakers for this.

I'm at hackerspace now and need to find some place to stayover tonight, and looking for some temporary job.

Regards
Krzysztof Wrzałka.

What happened with those ceiling panel speakers, are they still around?
7x 100W sounds like an ideal way to drive up to 14 of them.
Are they 8Ohm?

Yes, they are in the ceiling...

I looked on the back of one of them, it says:

50Hz - 20Khz
8 Ohm
60W

hope that helps.

You can always wire them to suit ie series parallel onto each channel to show 16r or 4r if the amp can handle it.
