So, last night in the hackspace we pretty much got this thing (http://
www.flickr.com/photos/16339684@N00/3779436728/) ready to roll again.
The next step is a test run! I'd like to set the thing up and shoot
some demo footage of people mucking around in it. There's a tv
production company who're happy to bring in a decent (night-vision-
capable) camera.
This'd mean taking the quiet area for about 4 hours - 2 to setup, and
around 2 to run. We'd have to black it out (black cloth over the
windows, lights off), and use the smoke machine enough to get a light
haze. Once we're up and running, anyone in the space would be very
welcome to have a go.
We'd probably be looking to do this during working hours, sometime in
the next week or so, with two of us, a cameraman, and whoever else
wants to come.
Is this an appropriate use of the hackspace? (If it makes a
difference, Fire Hazard is a small-time side project, but we're not a
registered nonprofit).
Cheers,
Gwyn.
