An inquiry regarding LaTeX and the CLL

Hello everyone.

You probably know that there has been an effort to create a new CLL:

Robin:

The project isn't going anywhere at the moment. Nobody is helping as far
as I know (I'd be glad to be wrong).

So here is a question:

Would there be more people capable and willing to help out if Robin
converted what is currently there to *LaTeX* (from docbook), so that you
don't even have to worry about docbook anymore? We really need to move
this forward, so please speak up.

Who on this list can use LaTeX well enough and would be willing to help
with the CLL?

Sadly this seems to be the case. Although, if you look at the list of
pull requests[0], there are quite a number of them which never were pulled or
rejected.. So it's also about missing administration of the project and
not just about missing contributions.

I'm not sure this helps at all. At the moment, I'm not helping out,
because everything else in my life keeps me too busy to do that and
not because I have problems with the source language.
I'm rather sure I'm not the only one with that reasoning.

Whether the source of the CLL is docbook or LaTeX doesn't matter to me.
Semantic markup with docbook is nice to have, but if it helps someone
who would really contribute something essential, plain LaTeX sure is fine.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that, hoping to get to them soon.

Having said that, what's in the pull requests seems like a fairly
minor portion of the available work.
