Tiki word list?
Someone, I think it was la.lindar., created a page for word lists on the tiki, which were categorized groups of English words with Lojban translations (i.e. a category for Kitchen items and so on). Does anyone remember where it is? I can't find it. -- mu'o mi'e .aionys. .i.e'ucai ko cmima lo pilno be denpa bu .i doi.luk. mi patfu do zo'o... more »

tanru names
I understand about adding a consonant to words ending in a vowel in order to make them a name, but what about tanru names? A good example would be "the White House". Do you add consonants to both, or make it a lujvo, leave it alone and just put "la" in front of it, or what?

About my name
Daeldir is not my real name (yes, you guessed right :-P). It's an alias I created from nothing when I was young. However, in my head, Daeldir means something. I always associated those sounds with “walk beneath the moon”, or “walking in the moonlight” (google translate gave me that last one ;-)).... more »

.e'o ko pe'u
coi {ko} is used in Lojban where imperative mood would be used in other languages. The imperative mood is used to communicate: * commands; * requests; * permissions; * prohibitions; * advices; * maybe other things too. Of those uses, I think, commands and prohibitions assume listener's obligation to comply; others do not.... more »

Tags and bridi operators
... As I follow the conversation on the main lojban list, I think I more or less understand what's a bridi operator. But I'm having difficulties on seeing how a quantifier is a bridi operator. Could someone please explain it to me in mathematical and/or computer languages terms? Or maybe point me to the appropriate... more »

Lojban sounds and Wikipedia article about those sounds
While translating the Lojban Wave Lesson Zero, about lojban letters pronunciation, in french, I used some Wikipedia linguistic articles to describe the “x” and “r” in lojban. Wikipedia has sound samples for every lojbanic sound, I think, as we can see on those few examples: L: [link]... more »

questions about lojban
I'm interested in lojban. I hope to state complicated meanings very clearly using lojban, and without the need for further clarifications as is common in natural languages. A son of mine has dyslexia, and I read that languages in which each letter can only be pronounced in one way is much easier for dyslectics to read. Sounds very... more »

"Craftlang" Minecraft server.
This might be interesting. Question about the role of logic in Lojban
The grammar of Lojban is based on predicate logic, so I imagine your background in it would help. ... ... -- mu'o mi'e .aionys. .i.e'ucai ko cmima lo pilno be denpa bu .i doi.luk. mi patfu do zo'o (Come to the Dot Side! Luke, I am your father. :D )

coi
coi mi'e .djunias. mi sralo ...and unfortunately that's all I've got so far. I'm currently - slowly - reading through one of the brochure-thingies and I'm really enjoying the language (another phrase I know: mi nelci la lojban). So, I suppose I'm just introducing myself to the group (You can refer to me... more »
