Do logical tanru connectives bind ommited arguments?
For example, when I say "broda je brode", does this mean that lo broda
= le brode?
Of course if I say "mi broda je brode", then lo broda = lo brode = mi.
What about "zo'e broda je brode"? I understand leaving empty sumti
places is equivalent to putting zo'e.
Finally: in common usage are sentences like "ti melbi je xamgu" and I
don't think they are intended to mean that the beauty aspect (lo te
melbi) is equal to the standard of goodness (lo te xamgu). What about
"ti melbi je xamgu fi zo'e"?

So, it's an open question. The general opinion is that yes, the x1
places will align, but there is a disagreement over whether the
x2...xn places will. My answer is that they do, but they are not
always sensical, so they wouldn't be uttered. Use at your own risk.

If the usage is expected to decide, then I'm going to use it like
this:
Unspecified objects (empty places or zo'e): not necessaryli aligned
Other (specified, variables like KOhA1 or KOhA4, {ma} etc.): aligned
The same for the x1 in "broda da gi'e brode de".
