Do you have your new sun shade done? Have you gotten all your projects done that you wanted to?

Well...its time to get them finished up. Its 2012 already and only a few days until Suth Moot.

I have updated the web page, gotten the flyers ready, gotten the team (mostly) together and we have some exciting things happening. This year is our forth year so we are going with a Shakespeare theme. Let the pun fest begin.

What do you need to do before the beginning of April? (please note...it doesnt matter if you are going to Rowany Festival or Suth Moot, this is a must)
1) get your booking in with your fees (see web page for details)
2) Volunteer - if you think you have make sure you are on the stewarting team list, if I have missed you let me know. IF YOU HAVEN'T, then find somewhere, something that you can do, would like to do, idea to honouring Shakespeare and let me know. If you cant think of anything, contact me and we will find something for you. I still have a few little jobs and such, so I am sure you can help somewhere.
3) Gear - make sure it is ready to use. Dont wait til the last minute. Check you pegs and ropes, repair your garb, aromour, arrows (this list can go on forever)
4) Autorization and memberships - make sure they are up to date.
5) If you are on the stewarding team, make sure you have people to help out. Get started on your job, write scripts, make equipment, get advertising done, whatever you are doing, get it started so you are not rushed at the last minute.

Hi Nicolette,

Thanks for the info about Suth Moot.  I am very keen to come along this year, but just needing to know a couple of things.

Firstly, I may need a lift from Southern Cross station (I will be travelling from Albury by Greyhound bus)  (I do not like travelling by trains) to Suth Moot, and was wondering if there is anyone you know who might be able to assist me with that.  I can be there by about 8.30 on the Friday morning.  And would also require a lift back I guess probably on the Monday, depending on when they are heading home.

I think I might ask Margaret (Emmy)  recorder player (I also play music), but in case  she is not going or unable to help me, would appreciate other possibilities.

I would also like to book into a dorm (with other females, that would be good).

Thanks

Hi Nicolette,

Hi,  sorry so long getting back.  Margaret Rendell is able to assist me with getting to and from Suth moot.  so now I can plan the event.   I was unable to complete the PDF form, (won't let me type answers) so next time I am in the library I shall type up the info for you and send it to you.

So I have a female dorm already booked.  I will be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.   Seeing as I shall be travelling by bus, I think it best that I just book meals as follows:

FRIDAY LUNCH AND DINNER

SATURDAY LUNCH AND DINNER

SUNDAY LUNCH AND DINNER

MONDAY -----Undecided as to what time I shall be heading back to Melbourne  - might depend on what time is suitable for Margaret.   -   so may need a lunch, but will need to wait closer to event.

For the Friday night, I would be needing a bowl for some vegetarian dish I intend to make .   Is it possible to borrow something like that from kitchen?   Do some cooking as well?  Heating up etc?

ALSO  my dietary needs are VEGETARIAN/FISH.

I will need to start saving up, so hope it is okay to bring money with me to pay for event.     $50 accommodation
                                                                                                                                    $50 event
                                                                                                                                    $15   lunches
                                                                                                                                    $28   dinners

                                                                                                                      TOTAL   $143 ?

Did you enjoy Border Wars.  I did see you in the distance, but always seemed to be doing something else - that is what happens when you are the host group!!!

Thanks

Great thanks, All I really need is membership number and expiry date and your booked in (dont not really need the form ;) )

Glad you could work out transport. Yes you could bring money with you, but you can also part pay as we get closer. Just send me an email when you do make a payment, so I can record it, many people make installments, good way of saving it up)

Yes had a wonderful time at BW always do. was so great to sit and chat, sorry I missed you mostly. but there is always Suth Moot :)

If you would like to get more interest up there (someone else not wanting to camp in the wet of Festival) There is the information booklet that you could hand out, or flyers...
