Graceful reboot flushed out whatever the issue was that had been building for months.

I have been running Postfix 2.6.6 for the last 5 months. There has not been any server changes and the config allowed me to send 150,000 emails per hour with no problems.

Now, things have slowed down and are progressively getting slower since about a week ago.

The snapshot I linked shows my "delays" and you can see that the "Time in Queue Manager" has gone to 3 and 4 seconds which has choked my mail delivery down to about 20,000 mails per hour vs 150,000.

Hi All,
I am tring setup one MX backup server! And I need help!
For sample, I have 2 MX:
10 mail.mydomain.net
20 mail.backup.mydomain.net
In my main server (10) I have this on main.cf
myhostname = mail.mydomain.net
alias_maps = hash:/etc/aliases
alias_database = hash:/etc/aliases
myorigin = /etc/mailname

I have set up a RedHat 6 server with Horde 5, it works correctly now (after much headscratching) for users using imp for their mail.
However, if using an external mail client (I have been testing with thunderbird 17.0.4) -
I can send and receive messages from horde / imp to users on external domains and also I can send mail from Thunderbird to imp users on the server but not beyond to the external domains as the server will not act as a relay

I need to modify the "From:" header line in incoming e-mail messages ONLY IF "Message-Id:" starts with a defined string.

The action pattern would be similar to the following:

/^From: (.*)@johndoe.com/ REPLACE From: $...@ext.johndoe.com

Can you suggest a way to accomplish this?

Yes, login was the problem. I used dovecot which does not support client auth. So I had to install Cyrus sasl packages.

You need to authenticate before you sent email at the strato server (smtp
auth).

I'm trying to rewrite sender address/domain from @sub.example-domain.com to @example-domain.com.

I tried:
1) masquerade_domains = example-domain.com
2) sender_canonical_maps=hash:/et c/postfix/sender_canonical
(sender_canonical: @sub.example-domain.com to @example-domain.com)

In both cases, with masquerade_domains and sender_canonical_maps, when I send a mail from u...@sub.example-domain.com, I recieve mail with:

I want to forward a copy of the users email which has the specific subject. I have tried the below settings, able to Redirect that particular subject mail. But i want to forward a copy of that mail to another group id. Instead of REDIRECT is there any option to put a Cc: to the group id.

When I sent test email from mail.mydomain.com to my gmail account I saw the strange header there
