Help With Intranet Configuration

Hello all,
I have a server running on a local intranet that I would like to
receive email on for a web application. The server's hostname is in
the form of hostname.example.com and I'm simply trying to receive
email for local accounts on the server. I've tried configuring main.cf
with $mydestination set to hostname.example.com and I even set

Messages sent with Postfix have attachment?

All of the messages I send via SMTP through Postfix come into my inbox
(Yahoo) showing an attachment, but there is nothing there.
The header shows:
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="----
=_Part_124_68713.1262601356866 "
Does anyone have an idea as to what might be causing this phantom

I am also seeing:

I should also add, that when trying to send over port 25 with TLS, I
get the following from my client:
"ERROR","web-0","01/03/2010"," 06:55","mail spooler","Exception reading
response;
nested exception is:
javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext
connection?"

Being new to Postfix, I'm looking for suggestions. I keep reading
about how things "used" to be on smtps using port 465, but now they
aren't. It's all a bit confusing. I've read 200 sites tonight alone.
Assuming I have a server that needs to send mail (such as PHP, Ruby,
ColdFusion, etc), what is the best configuration?

I have been wrestling with Postfix for a couple of days now and am
having some minor issues with TLS and secure ports.
First, here is what IS working....
I can use: mail em...@somedomain.com and email gets sent, so Postfix
is up and running, I receive the mail.
If I telnet into:

This weekend, I essentially gave up on trying to find the solution for
free, and posted my problem on Experts-Exchange.com. After a few days,
I finally found the solution (via a response, of course).
It seemed that the following configuration line was the culprit in my

am a trying to block certain domains from sending mails to my mail
server
ive used "smtpd_sender_restrictions= check_sender_access hash:/etc/
postfix/black_list". but it looks like some domains are being blocked
some are not because am still receiving mails from some of the black
listed domains
Please help
