That latest patch seems to have fixed the bug that makes the browser
stop momentarily. I've been running list-it on three computers since
the patch was posted in the beta list, and nary a hiccup.

Best wishes,

That's good news! Should we download the beta link in the other
thread, or should we wait of an "official" release?
Thanks

Hi George and Dylan,

I posted one more update last night (0.4.8-pre3.xpi) on the Google
Code page, which now uses Firefox 3.5's new asynchronous database API
to make things a bit zippier.

The performance improvements of this release over pre2 are very subtle
and will only appear if you are running FF 3.5, not FF 3.0. Also if
you have "Science Mode" (logging note accesses for our user study)
turned on it will probably seem much faster, as Science Mode logs
quite a bit of data.

I'm currently working on a new new version which will do all
synchronizations in a background thread. Unfortunately it's a bit
hairy because of the limitations of Firefox's Worker Threads.

I super appreciate your help testiing List-It's performance. I'm the
only one working on the problem at the moment, and it's a bit hard to
reproduce it on my machine.

Thanks

Sorry, I have been a bit busy this week. I just installed 0.4.8-
pre3.xpi.
I will give it a run and post back.
Thanks!

I just replied in another thread, but basically everything is running
great on the newest pre-release. None of the problems that I was
observing before.
Good work! Thanks!

How can I download your new version to fix this "delay" problem with
Firefox, which I have also?
