Subject: Philadelphia
Field Station: Coordinator position
My Friends:
I just wanted to let you know that this afternoon the vacancy announcements
for the permanent position of Coordinator for the Philadelphia Field Station
were posted on USA Jobs. The advertisements for the position will
be open from Friday January 13, 2012 through Thursday February 2, 2012.
Both current government employees and candidates external to the
government are eligible to apply for the position. However, there
are two separate vacancy announcements depending on the applicant's status.
For those applicants who are current career or career-conditional federal
employees with competitive status or former career or career-conditional
Federal employees in the competitive service please click on the link immediately

Just as a reminder, I also plan to convene a panel to evaluate the candidates
when that time comes and will be reaching out to some of you to ask your
willingness to serve in this capacity. I am very excited to be taking
another step in moving toward our vision of a Philadelphia Field Station
to better serve the people in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area and beyond.
Very respectfully,
Michael T. Rains,
