Hi, I'm not an android user so can't help you much.

Can you tell if the udp viewsync packets are being generated at all from the earth app on the device?

I'd be, happily, surprised if this worked. I'm not sure how much code is shared between the different Google Earth platforms, and whether viewsync would make it onto those devices?

I'm pretty sure tablets don't work with viewsync :(

There doesn't appear to be an Earth API for the Android Google Earth App either.
We could probably go that route for view sync if there was.

(gutta.dutt just posting this back to the public list)

You Android guys are persistent!

We're pretty sure the ViewSync function that is in the desktop Google Earth Clients isn't available in the Android Google Earth App or the iOS Earth App.

Not saying it's impossible, but we don't have a set of instructions for ViewSync on those platforms.

If you make the config changes and can see viewsync UDP packets being generated by the master (ViewSync/send=true) then let us know and we may have something to work with.

ViewSync/receive = false

; If send == true, sets the IP where the datagrams are sent
; Can be a broadcast address
 ViewSync/hostname = myipaddress
 ViewSync/port = 21567

; For video caves, we typically want the slave screens to look to the
; left or right (yawOffset) of where the master is looking
ViewSync/yawOffset = 0
ViewSync/pitchOffset = 0.0
ViewSync/rollOffset = 0.0
