Hi, while playing around with viewsync packets I managed munge up something temporarily (I accidentally remove the counter which moved all the values by one) which made one of the GE instances do something funky!

Screenshot attached. It changed some layers, turned on View->Sun and View->Grid. I doubt I could reproduce it!
Anyone know what could cause that!?

Also noticing I can reset the counter from the viewsync relayer and the slaves continue to respond.
They take a quarter of a second to sort themselves but I'm sure they used to just ignore the viewsync's if the counter wasn't getting bigger.
Suits me fine!

Andrew.

This actually looks perhaps to be a serious bug with ViewSync in Earth
6.2.0.59XX. I've got a 5-display system right now with 4 out of the 5 Earth
instances (all ViewSync Slaves) are flickering night-time mode, Grid,
Mini-map, etc, etc.

It's insane.

Thanks

I took a little video of what I saw.

The hidden LG 'rave party' mode! :/

GE6.2.0.5905 (Windows slaves and OSX master) have been pretty stable here. I haven't run up the Linux side for months.

The glitch i captured only happened when I stuffed up the viewsync relayer.
All the GE slaves went haywire as far as their location in GoogleEath (since lat, long, alt, etc was off by one field). I had two GE6.2.0.5905 slaves and one GE6.0.3.x slave, the GE6.2's also went crazy with switching on/off settings (sun/grid/etc), I think one of the 6.2 may have crashed and restarted. The GE6.0.3.x didn't flinch.
