Subject: ath5k issues...

I have 2 D-Link DWL-G650 wifi cards for my laptop, which I've tried
installing both arch and archbang on.  In both OSes and with both cards,
I'm getting this error: "ath5k: failed to warm reset the MAC chip".  Both
OSes become very unstable and they hang quite often.  Up until my latest
wipe and re-install, these cards have worked flawlessly.  I've googled and
found this as a bug back in 2.6 kernel times, but have found no fix or
work-around.  Does anybody know of a work-around or am I going to have to
invest in a non-ath5k or non-atheros card?

Thanks,
--
