[Linuxකතා] මට පිස්සුද, නැත්තම් මෙහෙම වෙනවද?

මම වින්ඩෝස් සහ උබුන්ටු ලුසිඩ් Dual Boot එකක් දාලා තියෙනවා. අපේ කාර්යාලයේ තියෙන් වෑර්ල්ස් එකට මම සමබන්ධ වෙලා, ටොරන්ට් හරහා බාගත කරනකොට, මට තේරිලා තියෙනවා වින්ඩෝස් වලට වඩා හොඳ වේගයක් මට ලිනක්ස් හරහා ලැබෙනවා කියලා. මේක හරිද, මේක වැරදිද, නැත්තම් මට පිස්සුද? මට මේක සංසන්දනය කරන්න හින්දා මම එකම් ටොරන්ට් එක, දෙකෙන්ම බාල බැලුවා. මට හිතෙන් විදිහට, මට පිස්සු නැහැ වගේ.

මේක මට තේරුම් කරලා දෙනවද?

ලිනක්ස් වලදි බෑන්ඩ්විත් එක බෙදාගන්න විදිය හින්දා තමයි. උදේ පාන්දරම ලිනක්ස් තියෙන මැසිමක් ඔන් කරල ටොරන්ට් එකක් දැම්මොත් අනිත් වින්ඩෝස් තියෙන එව්වට සොරිම තමා. මතක විදියට මේක ගැන කවුරුහරි ලියල තිබුනා.

හා . ලියන්නම්. හැබැයි ඒකාධිපති වෙන්නනම් ඇයි මාරු කරන්නෙ. හොඳම  ඒකාධිපති එක තමයි  default එන්නෙ

අර ලිපිය කියෙව්වම හිතුනෙ CUBIC ට වඩා BIC ඒකාධිපති කියලා! මට වැරදුනාවත්දැ! :O

Yes. If you are going to use only one TCP connection BIC will get more bandwidth. But to optimize Bit Torrents Tit for Tat mechanism you will need at least 5 parallel TCP connections ( 5+ few more is more better  ) . In that case it has been observed CUBIC is more better. 

Further for your note this acquiring Bandwidth  is not download bandwidth. But it is Upload bandwidth.

But getting more upload bandwidth is help in torrent because download rate is correlated with upload rate.

But upload and download bandwidths should carefully managed. In case of BIC it getting more and more upload bandwidth but killing your download bandwidth (This will not be a prob if your link is ADSL. But for a LAN kind of network it is give a trashing result.) 

For normal downloading you are not getting any benefit whether you use BIC or CUBIC.  

Simply if you need to get more from torrent CUBIC is good (Unless you write your own custom torrent client & cheat).

If your need is getting more bandwidth for other kind of download Using BIC or CUBIC or any other is same.
