            Position:          .Net Developer

            Location:          Chicago, IL

            Duration:          6 Months

            Due By:            Immediate

            Start:                ASAP

            Notes:              Candidate local to Chicago are highly preferred           

           

            Job Responsibility:

 

            This position will expand the in-house expertise in building and supporting various web based applications using .Microsoft technologies including .Net, SQL Server 2005, SQL   Server 2008, IIS etc.  The ideal candidate will assist developer leads in the analysis, development, support and maintenance of new and existing web applications.

           

            Job Requirements:

·         BS in Computer Science or Equivalent combination of Education and Industry Experience

·         A minimum of 6 years building web applications using Microsoft technologies

·         Extensive experience with .Net 3.x,4.x including C#, ASP.Net, WCF, WWF, Microsoft Visual Studio, Web Services, JavaScript, IIS6, and SQL  Server application development.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft MVC, JQuery, LinQ, Entity Framework and Testing tools.

·         Understanding and professional experience in the following areas: Unit testing, Web development & Data-driven websites.

·         Knowledge in areas of database design, application design, web security and scripting.

·         Understanding of object-oriented concepts and multi-tiered architecture.

·         Working knowledge of any of these tools, technologies is a plus - writing and executing test scripts, testing software, Siebel, BizTalk, SharePoint, and Cognos BI Tool.

·         Ability to deliver results with minimum supervision.

·         Excellent communication skills 

 

Selected candidates will go through a hands-on interview process and will be required to work on a scenario and develop a solution within the scheduled time. Candidates who are not comfortable with hands-on development shouldn’t be submitted.
