It's a Firefox/Iceweasel process that runs browser plugins like Adobe
Flash.

Happens in Wheezy also. Bloody nuisance, and that's putting it mildly.

Yes, but why for the last ten years is it unstable?

Plugin-container was introduced with Firefox 3.6.4, released in June
2010, so "ten years" is a slight exaggeration. And it can be only as
"stable" as the plugins it runs. Blame Adobe.

Before its introduction, the same CPU usage was reported for the Firefox
process. The change only makes it (partly) visible who is to blame.

I would suggest that ten years of high CPU usage is quite stable. Or, to
coin a phrase, "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what
you think it means."

I reinstalled my nVidia graphic card driver and got "Error: couldn't
find RGB GLX visual" when I run command "glxinfo".

How can I fix it?
