When to file a bug report? - Re: prettify audacious? - sid, xfce desktop

This is a question I've often wondered about - what is a reasonable
process for filing a bug report?

I've assumed that a dip in the waters of debian-user is a good first
start. Any recommendations?

So, the default install of audacious (sid) appears to install 7 skins.

Yet, in the View->Interface menu, there are only two options.

At this point, is there any reason I should not file a bug report
(against audacious)?

Is there any reason to have not filed a bug report, say 4 days ago?

You don't see two skins, but you see two skin "interfaces". If you
select the "Winamp Classic Interface", you can change this skin via the
menu View -> Interface Preferences (This menu item isn't visible when
using the GTK interface).

When you use the GTK interface Audacious will get its skin from your
used GTK theme, and that you cannot change in Audacious, but that you
have to change in Xfce (if that is what you use).

The skins you have in /usr/share/audacious/Skins/ will probably be
selectable if you change to the "Winamp Classic Interface".
