what does back ground process ata/0 do ? Where is it documented ?
Also, what does back ground process ksuspend_usbd do ?

I don't have any such thing, but I expect you are referring to a Kernel
Thread, listed by ps in square brackets as "[ata/0]", which is probably
from some ATA driver, which driver should show as loaded in
`lsmod | grep ata`.

Another Kernel Thread, probably from a USB driver, which sounds like it
is related to Suspend / Resume.
