Проблемы печати из GIMP

Всех приветствую.

 подключил принтер Epson R270 через usb, потом из системы печати установил драйверы к этому принтеру. проблема вот в чем, из офиса документы печатаются нормально, а из GIMP - нет.  провел диагностику, система выдала trobleshoot.txt. принтер переставил - такая же проблема. как её побороть, подскажите пожалуйста.
