Bug#462450: exiv2 update causes gwenview to crash for some images

Apologies if this is actually a gwenview bug.

I installed the etch security update to exiv2 0.10-1.5 and now gwenview
(Version: 1.4.1-1, dependencies listed below the exiv2 deps)
is crashing on some images. I'll include the exif info from a image
that doesn't crash and one that does crash gwenview.

Yes. This is really a regression caused by the recent "libexiv2-0.10"
upgrade 0.10-1.4 > 0.10-1.5. This affects at least Konqueror and
Gwenview when displaying (some) images. I can reproduce this anytime:
with certain jpeg images and with libexiv version 0.10-1.5, Konqueror
and Gwenview crash everytime. No crashes at all with 0.10-1.4.

For now the fix is to roll back to libexiv2-0.10 version 0.10-1.4.

Hmm, gwenview was the application I've used for testing the update.

Can one of the KDE extras maintainers please test the sample images
against 0.15-2 ?

I have uploaded exiv2-0.16. gwenview will be rebuilded against it.
Then we could retry with the sample images.

I found an example image for you which causes immediate crash. Save the
image from the following page and experince crashes with 0.10-1.5. I
tried Konqueror's Image View and Gwenview.
