hey pietro,
you're right, i missed that the original bug you reported isn't related
to the one that mark hedges mentions later in the buglog. thus reopening
the bugreport.
i'll investigate it further once i've time.

Are you still able to reproduce this bug? If so, please provide exact
details about cryptsetup version you use, and a reproducer (i.e. a
sample script or some command to show the bug, you mentioned bash -v).
Unfortunately I'm rather busy and didn't manage to investigate this bug
so far, so maybe you can help me with that.
