Hi,

the postinst of the sabayon package creates the sabayon-admin user and
groups, but not as systems groups. This is bad if non-system users and
groups are maintained centrally in the network, and a newly added real
group will get the same gid as sabayon-admin. I’m relatively sure that
this is a policy violation, but I haven’t looked that up.

Greetings and thanks,
Joachim

Not really, it's been removed from unstable but the package is still in
experimental. Reopening, as we want to fix these bugs to upload sabayon to
unstable again.

Cheers,
Emilio

Huh, did you read what I wrote on the other mail? This is *still* in the
archive, don't close the bugs as the package hasn't been completely removed!

Hi! Sorry.. I didn't saw the experimental one :( I need to add some verification
in the script to check if the package is still at experimental.

Thank you

Yeah, it's ok, but add that check sooner rather than later so that you don't
close these bugs for the third time :)
