Could these two warnings be fixed?

Olaf

I guess so, but probably not by insserv. I suspect the correct fix is
for you to remove /etc/init.d/libdevmapper1.02 (it is probably
replaced by newer versions of the package with the header) and for the
package maintainer of whatever package includes screen-cleanup to
update the start and stop runlevels for that script. Which package
include screen-cleanup?

Happy hacking,

Yes, by the package maintainers of whatever provides those scripts.

The screen-cleanup warning indicates that the LSB information does not agree
with the current link scheme for the script, which usually means the package
postinst call to update-rc.d does not much the Default-Start in LSB info.

The libdevmapper1.02 script seems to be missing LSB headers.

Both of these are valid warnings.

Thanks, Kel.

Ah, yes, I think I've ran into this before...
I wish it was done automatically...

My guess: screen

BTW, didn't solve the BCC issue yet? ;)

reassign 499373 devmapper
thanks

This issue would have to be solved in the devmapper package, removing
obsolete conffiles during upgrades. It can't be solved in the insserv
package.
