Hello All,

Some minor bugs are corrected. There is also a major strategic
change in this version of Linrad (that is only relevant
for Windows users.)

Linrad can load ExtIO dll files to support various hardwares.
Obviously I can take no responsibility for such files...

Previous versions of Linrad install Extio dll files after the
initialization of the screen and other essentials. Surely that
should be perfectly OK, but with buggy ExtIO files that write
outside boundaries, such a strategy can lead to various problems.

Linrad-03.34 installs the Extio dll and starts the associated
hardware before initializing any of the memory essential to
Linrad. It seems that this change of strategy makes the FunCube
dll work properly.

----------- 0 -------------

I am still in the "bug correcting mode."

I want Linrad to be stable before I change to "documentation mode"
or perhaps "improve processing mode"

PLEASE INSTALL 03.34 in a new directory and copy your par*.* and dsp*.*
files into it. Try to change your parameters - all of them - to larger
and smaller values and send reports if you observe any errors.

Surely, if you enable AFC and set parameters for a total delay of 20
seconds you might get an error message suggesting that you should
set a larger output delay margin, but anything you might do should
generate a reasonable response from Linrad. If you all test various
(unforseen) things you might help me to provide reasonable error messages
when things go wrong.

Hello Leif and others,

Just did a quick check with WSE and Linrad 3.34: working ok! The error I reported about par_wse is corrected. Thanks.

Testing Funcube and Linrad 3.34: also ok. The dll is loaded, no mirrored image or spectrum. I get good decodes with MAP65-IQ from the GB3VHF beacon. Same signalstrength as with WSE and MAP65.

I did not change any parameter to check all. I am not at home today so doing some tests remote. :-)
