Presumably there is no WMME driver on your system.
The other types of drivers will be supported relatively soon through
Portaudio.

Hi All,

I was playing around with an 'extra' computer today that happens to have
32 bit Windows 7 installed [7600.16385.x86fre.win7_rtm090 713-1255].

When I try to run Linrad 03.08 [stock pre-compiled version, installed
directly from the zip file on Leif's Linrad HomePage] I get the message

i can change the ports in Linrad Network Setup.

But after that MAP65 / -IQ didnt geht RX DATA ?

Hello Ermanno,
The frequency readout gives the frequency of the carrier. In SSB mode
that is the frequency of the BFO. In CW mode the carrier is assumed to be
placed at the center of the baseband filter. If you use AFC it will
be forced to the center if locking is sucessful.

Use Linrad as front-end for MAP65 and WSJT.
To view an jt65
signal, on the waterfall of linrad (SSB), shift the BFO to -1270.5 and filter
to about 2.4 kHz.

Hi Carsten,
The same as everyone else. Look at the polarization readout for several
EME signals and estimate ellipticity. If you see a circle, add a 0.25 wl cable
to one or the other antenna cable. If you see an ellipse at 45 dehgrees with
ellipticity 50%, add o.12 wl to one or the other cable.

Hi Carsten,
I do not remember. It is written somewhere in the MAP65 documentation.
Well, I have no experience with that. I would verify by checking
dt from MAP65;-)
The unit that needs calibration is the RX2500. For I/Q balancing
it does not matter if you send the signal into 2.5, 10.7, 70 or
144 MHz. Use what is convenient - but connect both channels.

That's the answer. There is usually a menu item (in KDE at least) for
system information that tells you what processor you have amongst other
useful stuff - also the "hwinfo" command and if you are still unsure, a
google search will reveal whether the reported CPU is 32 or 64-bit.

The time in Linrad is the same as in MAP65 - same PC - .
- sync by Dimension 4

What is the way to calibrate the WSE and the filters ?
What level the WSE need for calibrate ?

I thing we have running a very good system but used only 10% from it

Hi Carsten,

Maybe the cables are crossed somewhere....
Besides having the correct signal level into MAP65 you must also
have the correct time. Maybe WSJT searches in a slightly wider range
of time offsets than MAP65. Look for the time of those transmissions
that decode and make sure they fall well within the search window.

Yes:-)
The problem was to know what libraries to look for with the
configure script.
Linrad can use optional packages but they may be
difficult to install for newcomers. Therefore the configure
script will give informative (hopefully) messages about
what options that could be added.
