  Hi Carsten, &lt;br&gt; I do not remember. It is written somewhere in the MAP65 documentation. &lt;br&gt; Well, I have no experience with that. I would verify by checking &lt;br&gt; dt from MAP65;-) &lt;br&gt; The unit that needs calibration is the RX2500. For I/Q balancing &lt;br&gt; it does not matter if you send the signal into 2.5, 10.7, 70 or &lt;br&gt; 144 MHz. Use what is convenient - but connect both channels.

  That&#39;s the answer. There is usually a menu item (in KDE at least) for &lt;br&gt; system information that tells you what processor you have amongst other &lt;br&gt; useful stuff - also the &amp;quot;hwinfo&amp;quot; command and if you are still unsure, a &lt;br&gt; google search will reveal whether the reported CPU is 32 or 64-bit. &lt;br&gt; 73 ...   Hi Carsten, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Maybe the cables are crossed somewhere.... &lt;br&gt; Besides having the correct signal level into MAP65 you must also &lt;br&gt; have the correct time. Maybe WSJT searches in a slightly wider range &lt;br&gt; of time offsets than MAP65. Look for the time of those transmissions &lt;br&gt; that decode and make sure they fall well within the search window.

  Hi Chris, &lt;br&gt; Yes:-) &lt;br&gt; The problem was to know what libraries to look for with the &lt;br&gt; configure script. &lt;br&gt; Linrad can use optional packages but they may be &lt;br&gt; difficult to install for newcomers. Therefore the configure &lt;br&gt; script will give informative (hopefully) messages about &lt;br&gt; what options that could be added. &lt;br&gt; For Linrad-03.09 they are:

  hello all &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I use a system with 8 times 14ele XPol antennas. &lt;br&gt; I use Linrad 0308 in weak siganl CW and WSE &lt;br&gt; Setings for POL is: &lt;br&gt; 0 &lt;br&gt; + &lt;br&gt; Auto &lt;br&gt; H &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;Channel 1 - horizontal &lt;br&gt; Channel 2 - vertikal &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;now Linrad calculated the pol 90 deg wrong !!! &lt;br&gt; I checked with TS2000 and WSJT and the signals &lt;br&gt; from the WSE / Linrad with 90 deg are all only on hori.

  Leif: &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I&#39;m certainly no serious programmer, so maybe this is not what you want: &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;uname -m &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt;I only have 32 bit systems here, so it reports &#39;i686&#39; on those (could &lt;br&gt; also be i386/i486/i586).   I have MAP65iq_r11116 installed and running on a Dell laptop running Vista &lt;br&gt; Not really knowing what I am doing I plugged in my SDR-IQ and the &lt;br&gt; computer asked for a driver. I let it search for one and it found &lt;br&gt; and installed a driver and when I start Linrad in SSB and MAP65 I get &lt;br&gt; what looks like a normal waterfall.
