Spam in linorobot google group

Is anyone else annoyed by the spam that recently started coming across this channel? Is anyone doing anything about it? I emailed the channel owner and got no response.

Something needs to change, or ppl who are genuinely interested in the topic that this channel supports (like me) will start leaving the channel.
