Giving Input to RelEx

Hi all,
I'm hoping to use RelEx for a small search application, to generate
the relationships between the words of the user's query. I downloaded
the code plus the dependencies and compiled it, but I can't find out
how to give an input (for an example, a sentence as a string) to have
a look at the output generated. Can someone specify how I can do
this??

The shell script relation-extractor.sh gives a variety of examples.
