Error in calculating the sentence length

Have found that the length calculation of a sentence that has the MXs
link is wrong (when the modyfying expression is not enclosed in
commas):

Linkage 1, cost vector = (UNUSED=0 DIS=0 FAT=0 AND=0 LEN=4)

the system.n should.v print.v the report.n , selected.v-d earlier .

The length calculation is fine if we end the sentence with a ,

Am using version 4.7.4. Any inputs on how we can solve this?

sentence length looks right too me. Please review docs for this feature.
Turn on wall-word display with !wall Then you will see four links of length
greater than one, i.e. a total of length 4.
