You can multiply a blackbox by unit vectors to expose the entries.
For instance A * (1, 0, 0, ... 0)^T is the first column of A.

I am new to LinBox and unclear how to get the results of some of the BlackBox matrices like Transpose and Compose.  I understand that I can pass these into the various solve functions, but I would like to check the values before I use them in solve().  The only functions available are rowdim(), coldim(), and the apply functions.  Any suggestions?
Thanks so much!
