Packaging for fedora

Hi,

I'm currently packaging linbox for fedora [1] and there are some
problems, hopefully you could help us with this ;)

- 3 patches needed to be applied to the source to install. It would be
nice, if you apply these to the next release:
* proper use of buildroot
* double named headers in Makefile
* cflags and lflags are not emited properly, when --cflags --lflags
are both used
You can find them at http://tomspur.fedorapeople.org/review/ in the
latest linbox*.src.rpm

- Licencing issues as described in the bug:
It would be better if every header file would have a LGPLv2

- Exit call in a library should not be used, but it's still your
choice to do so ;)

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your work in packaging the library.
I quickly browsed your bug report and comments, and will definitely
incorporate these fixes in the next release.
The copyright issues, are really a lack of rigour, from ourselves in
writing the headers, and no deliberate decision to have some files not LGPL.

I would like to see "exact linear algebra" in the summary. It will mislead
people if they think LinBox does numerical linear algebra.

Will do so, when the next release is coming. Shipping an update just
for changing the summary, shouldn't be needed.
